Zen Pyro

It says plainly in the instruction manual for a kerosene heater, for those who take time to read it, that you are supposed to turn off the heater before refilling it. I will admit, I have often violated this safety precaution. Now, I will share with you my observations of this infraction. Each time you squeeze the hand pump the flame rises about a quarter to a half inch. I imagine if you pumped it fast enough you could probably raise the flame to a significant length or intensity necessary to make the heater explode. So, if you do this, and I don’t recommend it, then you should probably go slow with it. Fire is probably most people’s favorite element; bonfires, cooking food, keeping warm. Water, I imagine would be the second; swimming, bathing, or just cooling down in general. Journaling

Thoth was the Egyptian God of writing among other things. He is attributed to all the writings of ancient Egypt. Its even said that the bible was only written down by men but inspired by God. Since prehistoric times mankind has felt a need to "write it down." Imagine how much the first grocery list would be worth, or a string of love letters between a cave man and a cave woman, preserved in a rolled up animal skin and most likely written in the blood of that which provided the canvas. This also probably inspired that relic of a grocery list. 1. Mammoth chops 2. Fire 3. Cave deodorizer  I have found that most people feel it necessary to have a journal for about everthing in their life. In one article I read, the author suggested a dream journal,  a meditation journal, and a journal to record results from magical rituals. The Last in Line

The last in line is a actually the name of a Dio song about some wayward bunch of eccentric…somebodies seeking some truth of esoteric things to find out if their end result is that of evil or holy.  They are the last in line. My favorite line in the song is “we are the hand that writes and quickly moves away.” This is to suggest that they exist in the shadows somehow affecting change through some passive will.  On a side note, as I wrote this post I’m not really sure which of the two blogs I will put it in. My own experience with the last in line has been that of my childhood and teenage years that the last in line was arranged by pecking order. The cool kids, the popular ones, they were first in line. Everyone in the back of the line were the outcasts,  nerds, geeks, or anyone else that just didn’t fit in with anyone else or each other like the goths, freaks, metal heads, etc. In school the last in line was a safe place.  Going to the back was a good way not to draw...
